By train to Goa

By train we travelled for 16 hours to Goa in a sleeper class. On the train we met a nice couple. They turned into our travel partners for some days. First stop was south goa. We found a relaxing place at the beach and enjoyed ourself with swimming and singing bad Karaoke. =)

The next day we travelled all together to the north of goa. A complete different style of beach.  Loud music from 5 p.m until the morning, a lot of white people, in particular Russians. After a long research for a nice and budget place to stay for some days, we are now relaxing on the beach.

After two month travelling and having different food dishes every day, I nearly cried as we found an Italian Restaurant with Tomato Mozzarella and Carbonara Spaghetti. I really was already sick of Indian, Sri Lankian and Arabic Food. Also because we all are having problems with our stomach.  So we really enjoyed the Italian Dishes.  Also we had the first real Party of our travels.  Unfortunately not in a full club, but we had a lot of fun together.

Next point I learned today: Just accept things: My day started really bad. I was eating Banana Porridge, as I saw little worms in my food.  Feels so bad to know you have eaten worms. Hope there were at least already dead.

Kochi

Kochi is a major port city on the west coast of India by the Arabian Sea.

It was an important spice trading centre on the west coast of India from the 14th century. Occupied by the Portuguese Empirein, Kochi was the first of the European colonies in colonial India. The city was later occupied by the Dutch and the British.

Backwaters

Backwaters in Kerala is a network of 1500 km of natural canals, 38 rivers and 5 big lakes extending from one end of Kerala to the other.

We explored the backwaters by hiring a boat for one day and night. This houseboat comes with a captain and a cook.

A paradise for bird watchers and nature lovers. Walking along the paddy fields, sitting quietly and listen to the sound of soothing water.
